Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how MeroStock handles BOID accounts, IPO result checks, portfolio tools, MeroShare workflows, and market data.
Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, MeroStock may handle account labels, BOID numbers, MeroShare DP/capital, MeroShare username, MeroShare password, transaction PIN, selected IPOs, manual holdings, watchlist symbols, price alerts, and saved result history.
Local device storage
BOID-only accounts, manual holdings, watchlist symbols, price alerts, app settings, cached IPO lists, cached market data, and saved final allotment results may be stored locally on your device so the app can work quickly between launches.
MeroShare and backend use
When you connect a MeroShare account or use account-specific workflows, MeroStock sends the required MeroShare details to the private backend to validate the account, load apply history, perform bulk apply actions, and check results. Stored MeroShare passwords are encrypted at rest in the current private backend.
Transaction PIN
Your transaction PIN is used only when you submit an apply request. MeroStock does not save the transaction PIN in local app settings.
Third-party services
MeroStock may contact CDSC, MeroShare, NEPSE, SEBON, and market-news sources to load IPO files, result data, market snapshots, company details, broker data, and news. Those services may process requests under their own terms and policies.
Deleting data
You can remove saved BOID accounts, connected accounts, watchlist items, alerts, manual holdings, and cached results from inside the app. You can also clear local app data from your device settings or uninstall the app.
Children's privacy
MeroStock is not intended to collect personal information from children.
