MeroScan — Data Deletion
MeroScan processes your documents locally on your device. You control your files and can delete them anytime.
All data is stored locally
MeroScan does not require you to create an account. Your scans, PDFs, and exported files are saved on your device (and/or in locations you choose, such as the Files app).
Local processing
Document scanning, cropping, PDF generation, merging, and passport photo creation are processed on-device.
How to delete your data
- Open MeroScan.
- Go to your Files / Recent list inside the app.
- Select the document(s) you want to remove.
- Tap Delete to remove them from the app.
Delete everything (uninstall)
You can remove all locally stored app data by deleting the MeroScan app from your iPhone.
Files you exported may remain
If you exported PDFs/images to the Files app (On My iPhone / iCloud Drive) or shared them to other apps, those copies are managed outside MeroScan. Delete them from those locations if needed.
